Special Activities at "The Beach Bash"

Pack up your Hawaiian shirts, grab your sunglasses and sunscreen and start inflating those beach balls, because "The Beach Bash on the Crystal Coast" will be here before we know it! Spring Outing 2021 is going to be one for the books. Now's a great time to start planning ahead and looking forward to a full slate of activities at Camp Sea Gull and Camp Seafarer. Here's what to get excited about this year:

BRING YOUR BICYCLE TO CAMP!

Bicycles are a great way to get around at camp! Dads and kids are encouraged to bring bikes to camp. Don't forget to bring your helmet! It's a state law in NC that anybody age 16 and under must wear a helmet while riding their bike.

5K "Your way"

In order to promote social-distancing efforts, this year's Spring Outing 5K will be self-serve. You can complete the 5K at any time, by bike or by foot. Just follow the signs around camp to complete the course. Once you've completed the 5K, visit the Y Guides Store to pick up your special 5K patch.

SPECIAL ACTIVITIES FOR "the beach bash"

Be on the lookout for some special activities that will help you and your Crew celebrate the Beach Bash theme. We'll have a special arts & crafts project and scavenger hunt available for you. And of course, IT'S BACK! Once again, you'll get to enjoy Splash Zone, a 35-foot inflatable slip-n-slide at Spring Outing!
