There's nothing like Spring Outing! Held at YMCA Camp Sea Gull and YMCA Camp Seafarer in Arapahoe, NC, you'll spend a weekend in cabins with your tribe. You'll have a great time whether you're digging for sharks teeth or going down the zip line. There is something for everyone!

Cabin assignments will be available at the Neuse Sports Shop in Kinston, NC the Friday of your weekend.
Tribes will stay in a cabin together at either YMCA Camp Sea Gull or YMCA Camp Seafarer. There will be no difference in experience or program between the two Camp locations.

Vegetarian and gluten-free options are available at every meal, and staff takes all of the necessary steps to accommodate participants with food allergies. All items served in the dining facility are nut free.
Chiefs Challenge- Chief Flying Squirrel invites you to join him in the 2019 Chief’s Challenge. He’s asking you to “Throw Kindness Around Like Confetti” to those in your life. Complete the worksheet prior to your weekend at camp to earn a special Chiefs Challenge patch.
First Years: Bring your own Sharks Teeth Sifter to Camp! First Years can also look forward to riding on the on the Joy Boy II!
Third Years: Work with your tribe to build your very own Raft for the Third Year Raft Race!
$182 per person, per weekend attending
If a dad is attending multiple weekends with multiple children, he must pay for himself each weekend he attends.
Cost includes a special Spring Outing tshirt, a patch, and a professional tribe photo per paid participant.
Draft Payment Option
If you are interested in setting up draft payment for your Spring Outing registration, please call our Customer Service team at 919-719-9989 for assistance before registering online. If you wish to set up draft payment, you must do so by February 15. After February 15, you must pay online and in full.
The YMCA of the Triangle provides financial assistance for dads and children who cannot afford the full cost of a Y Guides membership and/or outing expense. If you are looking for Y Guides financial assistance, click HERE to apply.
Cancelations received up to five business days prior to the event will receive a full refund minus a $25 processing fee. Cancelations received the Monday through Thursday of the event week will result in a refund of half the event fee. No refunds will be given for canceling on the Friday of the event or after the event has passed.
