We would like to share some bittersweet news. Lou "Howlin' Hippo" is embarking on a new adventure and has accepted a position outside of the YMCA of the Triangle. Lou’s last day will be October 11.
Lou has an exciting opportunity to move back to Florida to be closer to his family. He has accepted a position as the Senior Manager of Community Engagement and Sports for the Special Olympics in Central Florida. We are grateful for Lou’s dynamic leadership, energetic "wheeze honks" at outings, and creative programming.
We wish Lou, his wife Sarah, and their twin daughters Roxie and Stevie all the best as they move closer to their loved ones. Please take some time to send Lou a message thanking him for his leadership of our Y Guides program.
