Trailblazers, get ready to play in beautiful Black Mountain, NC! You'll shoot 22s, go down the gully washer, zip line through the trees and go off the blob. Sleep in a cabin or a tent and enjoy a lakeside cookout while listening to a local bluegrass band! And don't forget the Trailblazer's campfire on Saturday night next to beautiful Lake Eden.

Rafting adventure

Arrive at Camp Rockmont a day early and enjoy a trip to French Broad Adventure for a rafting excursion! This excursion includes a Friday morning breakfast in the Camp Rockmont Dining Hall, lunch on the French Broad River, a rafting adventure, and an overnight stay at Camp Rockmont on Thursday (in the same cabin/tent you've been assigned for the weekend).

2024 Rafting Information

Thursday night add-on

If you're not interested in a rafting excursion, but wish to arrive at Camp Rockmont early and enjoy your own adventure Friday, there is an option to stay at Camp Rockmont on the Thursday night of your assigned weekend. This includes your housing (the same as your assignment for the weekend) and breakfast on Friday morning. Please note that the waterfront will not open until 3:30 p.m. on Friday with all other activities being closed Friday.

Event Cancelation Policy

Cancelations received up to five business days prior to the event will receive a full refund minus a $25/person processing fee. Cancelations received the Monday - Thursday of the event week will result in a refund of HALF the event fee, per person. NO REFUNDS will be given for canceling the Friday of the event week or after the event has passed.
