Camp Kanata

Fall Outing at Camp Kanata is an awesome way to kickstart a great year with your Crew! Built on 150 rolling, wooded acres outside of Wake Forest, Camp Kanata offers a fun experience for dads and kids. 

Whether you're a First-Year experiencing your first Y Guides outing, a Second-Year proudly holding your lantern, or a Third-Year enjoying the Camp Kanata overnight, Fall Outing is something you won't want to miss. As a Crew, you can enjoy a cookout, archery, canoeing, BBs, the Triple Chill, the campfire ceremony and much more.

2024 Fall outing dates

Each Third-year Crew will be assigned a specific date to attend Fall Outing. Once their weekend is assigned, a registration link will be sent out. 

All first- and second-years will enjoy their Fall Outing experience on Sunday of each of the following weekends using the registration page here.

Third-years will stay overnight on either Friday or Saturday of the weekend.

Third - Year Weekend Assignments 

Third Year Weekend assignments will be updated on Fridays as new preferences are submitted this fall. Once New requests are approved we will send an email with your weekend assignments and registration information.  If you believe you submitted a request, but do not see your crew and have not received an email please wait to see if it appears on the next Friday's update. If it still is missing please email the Y Guides Team at yguides@ymcatriangle.org
