Hello I am AB,
I am originally from Washington D.C. where I spent my summers as a Y kid attending the Anthony Bowen Y until I moved to the North Raleigh area in my teenage years. I attended Wake Tech where I studied to be a dental hygienist and realized that it was not for me and I wanted to continue to pursue my career with the Y.
I’ve been at the Kerr Y for 15 years and have been the Director of camp Kerr for the past 6 years.
Camp has always been my happy place.
I love being outside, swimming, and enjoying nature.
In my free time, reading is my passion. I'm always looking for something new to read.
I'm the mom of two awesome kiddos a boy and a girl. My passion for reading has been passed along to both of my children and it’s also one of their favorite activities.
