Where were you born?

I was born and raised in Apex, North Carolina. I loved growing up there because it was the perfect small town.

What did you want to be when you grew up?

I had a few different ideas of what I wanted to be when I grew up, but one idea that I had for a while was being a baker. Specifically, I wanted to own a cupcake shop.

What are your favorite hobbies?

Some of my hobbies include reading, baking, playing volleyball, and cheering on the Tar Heels. Aside from that, you can find me spending time with friends and family or going to the beach.

What do you enjoy most about working for the Y guides?

I am most excited for the camp seasons (and getting to wear my chacos at work)! I was a Y Guide and my favorite part was spending a weekend at camp, and my love for camps continued to grow as I worked as a camp counselor for two summers during college.

If you could visit anywhere, where would you go?

I’d love to go to England, Ireland, and Scotland. I’m a huge history buff and these countries are the perfect place to learn more, and I’m also a big fan of the British royal family and want to see all the famous royal landmarks.

What’s the most important thing you’ve learned in life?

With everything that you do, make sure you have fun!
