2013 One Day Without Shoes

April 11, 2013
Take off your shoes on April 16. You won't be alone.

In fact, more than 400 million young people around the world go shoeless each day. It puts them at great risk of disease. Help raise awareness of this problem as part of One Day Without Shoes.

Leave a footprint

By putting your bare foot forward, you're making more than a fashion statement. Join us at one of our one-mile neighborhood walks on April 16. It's a great way to get some exercise, meet new YMCA friends and raise awareness of this global problem.

Make sure to wear your vest during the walk!
