We also have a 6 acre private, “Spirit Island” available for overnight canoe camping trips. Evening paddles, wildlife paddles, stargazing and full moon outings!
Ten and Under Tennis follows almost every other youth sport and uses racquets, balls and courts that are sized right for kids so that they enjoy the game right from the start. The French-Swiss Ski College at Appalachian Ski Mtn. has set aside special dates that enable you to ski/snowboard at affordable rates. Program includes slope tickets, rental equipment (skis, boots, poles or snowboard & boots), and a one hour lesson (all ability levels, ages 6 & up). The Raleigh Iceplex offers an Ice Skating Adventure for all Arapahoe Nation members from time to time. The cost per person is $6, which includes skate rental and a patch. An optional group skating lesson is available for $25 per tribe and recommended for beginning skaters.

The Raleigh Heritage Trail promotes the understanding of the history of the greater Raleigh area through the joint participation of Raleigh historic sites, local museums, and related facilities. The goal of the Raleigh Heritage Trail is to better serve residents and visitors through educational programming and the sharing of ideas, resources and marketing among its member institutions.
Visit at least six of the sites on the trail and have a staff member stamp your passport. After you’ve collected six stamps, present your passport at any site and collect your patch!
