Hi everyone! My name is Daniel Wood and I am so excited to join the YMCA family! I am originally from Huntersville, NC and relocated to the Triangle to attend UNC Chapel Hill. I graduated with a degree in Sport Administration. I have professional experience spanning across various industries; nonprofit fundraising, sports marketing, education, and commercial construction sales. Some of my fondest memories growing up were from my time participating in service-based, outdoor programs. I most notably enjoyed facilitating camps and leadership trainings as a member of the Scouting America organization. I could not be more enthusiastic to join the Y and return to this unique and exciting space!
In my free time you can find me catching up with friends, walking in the outdoors, riding my motorcycle, or watching college sports (Go Tar Heels!)
