Third Year Service project at Durham Food Bank

The Third year service project will be held inside the food bank warehouse from 1-3 p.m. on Saturday, October 11th. This project is a third year event intended to allow pairs or crews the opportunity to volunteer. 

While assisting the food bank in this activity, you will be expected to participate in the following tasks: 

  • Sorting out produce and place them in family – size bags.
  • Cleaning and bagging Capri Sun.

Please remember that closed - toe shoes are required at all times while volunteering at the food bank and don't forget to wear your Y guides vest!

NCFC vs Rising Phoenix FC

 

It's Y Guides Night at the WakeMed Soccer Park! Join us as we watch NCFC take down the Phoenix Rising FC on Friday, October 10th at 7 p.m. You can enjoy discounted tickets as well as Fan Fest before the game, participating in the fan tunnel, and groups of 10 or more will get their picture taken on the field. Don't forget to wear your vest and show your Y Guides pride!

Looking for a fun summer event for you and your crew? Look no further! Head to the NC Courage soccer game on August 2. Y Guides can enjoy special perks such as: free youth tickets and discounted adult single game tickets, being on the field for the fan tunnel to high five the players before the game, and groups of 10 or more will get to have their photo taken on the field!

First Year Dad's Trainings -University Club,Durham

 

Join the Y Guides team to learn more about your first-year in Y Guides. This dads-only training is required for all dads joining a new first-year Crew.   It is important that all first-year dads attend this yearly training, even if they have been in the program before. You will receive information about your yearly supplies, updates about the program and a schedule of events for the year ahead. We are offering this training in-person on three dates and we encourage dads to attend this meeting in-person.
