Tennisbloc brings a fun and engaging family tennis outing for Y Guides tribes. Dads and kids will have the opportunity to learn some basic fundamentals of tennis and complete a series of challenges over a three-hour outing. Dads and kids along with their tribe will share a positive learning experience and put their skills to practice. You can even earn a YMCA Tennisbloc Patch for completion!

The NC State Capitol is open for group tours. Please come visit your historic National Landmark Capitol and learn about architecture, the functions of NC Government, the history of Raleigh and how the building impacted the area.

The NC State Capitol provides two public tours on Saturdays, one at 11 a.m. and one at 2 p.m. If you want to come throughout the week, you can schedule through the website.

option 1: Messy Art and Open Play 

Come to SnickerDoodles at any time during our open hours and use our Messy Art studio together. 

Price: $5 art studio + $3 Open Play 

option 2: Tribe Time (90 Minute)  

Schedule a 90 minute private session at SnickerDoodles (evening and weekend hours). Our staff will provide a guided art activity Or a Dino Discovery. We will also keep our cafe open for snacks and beverages.

Art: 

Father/ Child painting project! Choose from a variety of painting projects to be completed on an 11x14 canvas together.

Father/Child tile painting. Both participants will recieve a ceramic tile to paint. 

Dino Discovery: 

Our staff will read a fun story about dinosaurs! Then fathers and children will play-doh to make dinosaur fossils, use ink to stanp dinosaur foot prints and end with our AWESOME Dino Dig. Children will become dinosaur hunters! They will have goggles, smocks, hammers and chisels to dig out treasures in a sand/plaster mixture.

option 3: Rental Space 

Use our space for your next tribe meeting!

$40/hour unstaffed. (You are responsible for clean-up)

$50/hour staffed. (Includes clean up and cafe open)

All children learn through hands-on discovery. Add the ingredients of fun, energetic adults and the love for home cooked food and you have stirred up the essence of a Lil' Chef. From first years to Trailblazers we sizzle up amazing programs such as tribe meetings.
