Talking Stick

No two talking sticks are alike. This project can tap the creative imagination of the Crew. Using a strong stick found on a hike, parents and children proceed to paint and decorate it.

The purpose of the talking stick is to grant a Crew member permission to speak at a meeting. The person who is speaking holds it in his or her hands. Everyone else must listen until that person finishes. The talking stick is then passed on to the next speaker.
